Beautiful names for a beautiful couple! Hailing from South Atlanta this young couple grew up with the same circle of friends so it was inevitable that they would start dating sooner or later. These are a few of the many photos we shot during their engagement shoot. As usual she was a natural at making use of all the photographic attention, but he took a little while to get used to the idea. True love shined right through any hesitation or shyness though as we can see below.

Rodney and Lavonne

Rodney and Lavonne seem literally made to be together. Just interacting with them during their free engagement shoot one could see that they have known each other for a really long time.  Rodney seemed a little camera shy at first but with Lavonne's persuasive mannerisms it did not take him long to get into the groove.

While I did not expect Lavonne to jet off to Manhattan and shop for her wedding dress and accessories at the swanky Stone Fox Bride Salon, I must say she did quite well by choosing Dunwoody, Georgia's very elegant Villa Christina to host both the ceremony and reception. The former was held in the wonderful private gardens behind the facility and the latter inside the tastefully decorated bar and dining area. It was a night to remember as it should have been.

Jennifer and Michael

Jen and Mike got hitched at the beautiful and historical Savannah River and Rapids Pavilion in Augusta Georgia. In terms of guests it was a small wedding of mostly very close friends and family, but that and the blanket of southern humid air did not stop all from having an absolutely joyous time.

Camisia Lee

A few months ago I took a short break from the hectic wedding photography season to shoot a lovely aspiring model, Camisia Lee on the streets of downtown Atlanta.  She has dreams of walking the top runways of the industry one day, but presently her college degree takes priority. While she might not have made it to the catwalks of the Stolkholm Fashion Week 2012 which was wrapped up for this year last night, I am sure with persistence she will be up on the world stage in the coming years.

Valerie & Antonio finally hitched

You were introduced to this lovely couple via their engagement shoot last summer, well they finally got hitched this winter.  It was a beautiful wedding in Suwanee, Georgia and of course Valerie was a stunningly beautiful bride. See for yourself........

Young And In Love

Valerie and Antonio were high school sweethearts. Now that they have graduated its time to get serious about their future. They will wed this November in North Georgia. These photos were shot at the Carter Presidential Center near downtown Atlanta.

Callaway In The Morning

Earlier this year Elvis and Angela were more than willing to take an early morning trek south to Callaway Gardens for their free Engagement Shoot.  Actually they first got serious about each other at the said Gardens a few years ago therefore the location was quite appropriate.

Stephanie and Dave

Stephanie and David have known each other for quite some time now. They met while bowling almost ten years ago.  They decided 2010 was their year to get hitched so they wasted no time in getting it done.  It was a dreary,  wet and cold winter day in January that they brought about seventy-five of their closest friends and family together in Snellville, Georgia for the occasion.  Here are a few shots from their engagement photo session a few weeks before the big day.

Shawnte and John

After what was a very busy summer of weddings for me, this was one of the last for the season.  At least the last of the big weddings until mid fall.  On September 21st Shawnte and John tied the knot in Lovejoy, Georgia.  Shawnte was a very practical bride and did not really care for the fancy trappings of normal weddings and John was willing to just go along with whatever she desired for her special day.  Her Mom and her extremely efficient wedding planners, Ciao Bella Weddings, were the glue that held the whole occasion together and in the end it turned out to be a wonderful closing of the summer.

The Georgia Aquarium

Okay, I know that I have a lot of catching up to do in terms of getting my posts online.  However I do have to show some of my stuff every now and then.  This set was from a trip I took Atlanta's newish aquarium downtown with the family.  I will have to return alone someday though so I can really take advantage of the many photo opportunities at the facility.  Hope you enjoy the few shots posted here.

Erica and Donnell

This beautiful couple got married down in Valdosta Georgia this fall.  They had a huge gathering of family and friends for the occasion with many traveling from the Northeast just to enjoy the evening with them.  I personally enjoyed my few days in Valdosta as there is nothing like mingling with good old folks from the deep south and filling up on that great homely southern cooking!

Reshand and Keyla

After many years of "talking" about getting married Reshand and Keyla finally jumped the broom.  Here are a few shots from their engagement photo shoot.  Shameless plug;  I provide FREE engagement shoots in all my wedding packages and each couple typically ends up with between 20 and 30 high resolution photos on CD for them to use however they choose.

Mary and Gerald

Mary and Gerald got married late summer near downtown Atlanta after dating off and on for what seems to them like a lifetime.  The Jimmy Carter Presidential Center served as the backdrop for the pictures shown here.  This was just after the ceremony and everyone seemed to be in a fun and joyous mood.

Jekyll Island

While exploring the state of Georgia back in the mid-eighties I practically stumbled on Jekyll Island very unintentionally.  I fell in love with the place immediately and have returned to rejuvenate my mind and soul many times since.  These shots are from my latest escape to the my special corner of the coast.  Hope you enjoy.
